Changing Terms of Use

In this free online wordpress tutorial, we show you how to change your “terms of use” as it pertains to your wordpress theme. Your theme may or may not work the same as mine. This video assumes you have created your template using the Artisteer program that you can get by clicking HERE.

Of course, now that you know how to modify your terms of use, you can also change the way the “contact us”, the “trademarks” and the “privacy statement” links work. Just rinse and repeat for each of them.

Don’t forget to comment… and tell your friends about how this course is helping you save money and build an awesome website.

  1. Hey question… is this for wordpress dot org?
I had no idea how to do terms of use. This is so helpful.
    What host would you recommend?
I love wordpress but want it to be a website how do I do that exactly.?
    Like register it-my blog- site
    then like use hostgator?
    Does this make any sense?

  2. Yes, Jackie, these free wordpress tutorials are for with your own domain name hosted with Godaddy or HostGator. I taught step by step installation using GoDaddy on the first 3 lessons of this course.

  3. Dr Mike, when I upload the artisteer template the footer is blank, what can I do?

Your site is looking great! When you start Artisteer, choose “wordpress” right from the beginning and look at the footer… it is automatic… unless you choose “Joomla” by mistake (and later change it to WordPress – by saving as a WordPress template). I don’t know what went wrong on yours… but propose this as a possibility.

  5. Dr Mike,
is this a pretty standard “terms of use”, if so, can you send me the html code so I can post it on my page?
    thanks
things are moving along on my website
